Jobber/Dealer Membership

Jobbers (whether supplying retail locations or a combination of retail and wholesale locations) can now provide NACS member benefits to their dealers through the new NACS Jobber/Dealer membership.

What is a Dealer?

A dealer is an independent retailer who owns a limited number of stores affiliated with brand and/or a fuel jobber.

  • In some instances, the dealer owns the land, the building, and the business. 
  • In other instances, the dealer owns the land, the building, and the business - except the fueling portion of the operation which is owned, managed, and maintained by a fuel jobber.
  • In the majority of instances, the dealer owns the business but leases the land and building from a fuel jobber. In these cases, the dealer either purchases motor fuels from a fuel jobber as part of a supply contract or the jobber manages and maintains the fueling portion of the operation and pays a commission or a percent of profit to the dealer.
