 Does NACS offer college scholarships?

Yes, we do!

Many of the convenience industry’s leaders got their start at the store level. Through hard work and commitment to learning, these individuals followed the career paths of the industry to positions of senior leadership. Established in 1991, the NACS Scholarship Program provides a way for convenience and fuel retailers to retain, reward and develop the next generation of industry innovators within their companies.

How it Works
Selected applicants are awarded $3,000 each for costs of undergraduate career education, community college, or college. In addition, scholarship recipients also receive a stipend to attend the 2017 NACS Show in Chicago, Illinois, October 17–20, where they will be recognized during a special evening ceremony and given the first-hand opportunity to learn more about exciting career paths in the industry.

Payment of Scholarship Funds
Two separate scholarship checks will be mailed to the recipient's home address, made payable to the scholarship recipient’s college or university. The first award payment will be issued in August for $1,500 and the second payment of $1,500 will be distributed in December.

Now Accepting Scholarship Applications
The application period for a 2017-18 NACS Scholarship is now open. The deadline to nominate a NACS retail member company employee and apply for a scholarship is Thursday, June 1, 2017.
